How can we improve the site?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Issue with Adding New Article

    Hi There! The last couples articles I have tried to add have auto-generated a title of "400 Request Header Or Cookie Too Large." Then once I correct the title and submit the article it says "This link has already been submitted. We added a vote for you." and then shows me a different random article that I did not submit and upvoted it for me. This has happened to me twice today in sharing two different articles, both times it has connected me to unrelated articles.

  7. Submitting own stuff

    Ok I have been on your site for 10 minutes, just experimenting with each category, I have listed 1 tool, I am listing one image and now got warning I am just submitting my own stuff. Yes I love to contribute. It is a two way thing. Give me a bit longer to know your community may post some other things that I find out. It is not like I am spamming other peoples boards?

  8. When creating an event for a private group at the end of setup it says "create group!"

    This is confusing as I don't believe I'm creating a new group. I'm just adding to an existing group an event.

    Every time I leave a comment, it says it's spam. Here is the latest post example:

    Your points are very good! A couple of your points really resonated with me that I see too much of:

    1. Repetitive content - if you only know one thing that's okay, but it can be said and related to me in different ways.

    2. Plagiarism - it seems more and more people have no ability to think for themselves and originality is suffering. I'm confident it's a mixture of incompetence and laziness.

    3. Spelling and punctuation - it's okay to make a mistake here and there,…

    Text missing on http://inbound.org/guidelines.

    Excerpt: "Sometimes, you create a jaw-droppingly awesome piece and just have to submit it. That's cool, if it's the exception and it really adds to the community. But if everyone just dropped their own links without"

    And it stops there. It does make sense, but doesn't look good especially on the community of this caliber.

  18. Bug when attempting to submit

    When I try to submit anything, after clicking "I solemnly swear this is good stuff!", the button changes to display "Loading", and then nothing happens... is this a recent bug? I've tried firefox and chrome.

  20. Bug: Can't edit my email noftification preferences

    On http://inbound.org/members/edit, when I try to change my email settings fra "Daily" to "Weekly" nothing happens, and when I reload the page "Daily" is selected by default.
