  2. Why does my grade bounce - 78 one day, 60 the next?

    I spent time and $$ optimizing my site based on Websitegrader results. In about a week it moved from 60 to 78 - I was very happy with that. I checked a week later and it was back to 60 again. Today it's at 76. I've done nothing to the site except a new blog entry. Why the bouncing around.

    Unfortunately your service did not pick up our images (we have over 80 on our site), our meta-tags <meta name="description" content="Try our background screening services and hire with confidence!" />

    <meta name="keywords" content="employee background screening, employment background screening, employee background check" />

    nor did you pick up the embedded google analytics code.

    I am somewhat concerned about the viability/credibility of your services if you cannot successfully analyze a site.

  9. Grader captured ANOTHER blog when doing my report. Now it's grading my Twitter account! Where is CS?

    I did have a 95, then it went down to a 91...why? Because it captured the stats of a blog whose BUTTON was on my site. I removed the button, now you're grading my Twitter acct.

  10. Our site has several conversion forms that are not being recognised

    Hi there, a site I have worked on www.irema.com has several contact/conversion forms (such as http://www.irema.com/organic-landing-page/ or http://www.irema.com/about-us/contact/) working throughout the site which are not being picked up by websitegrader. Is it possible you could let us know why this is so and if possible how we could rectify it?

  12. Provide Consistant Results

    I ran the report twice, within about 10 minutes, & received different scores. The only difference was that it found 2 bookmarks on del.icio.us on the first try, & didn't find them on the second. That changed my score from 72 to 64.

  13. Update the "Heading Summary" to reflect changes in HTML5. Multiple headings are now more semantic.

    Multiple headings can be a good thing if nested in article tags or hgroup tags. It describes your content more accurately to search engines.

  14. Stop using forged useragents when checking pages.

    Your spoofed requests are getting caught by the anti-fraud system we have, is there any possibility you could use an honest useragent to prevent this from occurring?

  17. Smarts for detecting sites within sites (e.g. /blog or /premium) /

    We have a site hosted at /pro on our domain - it's a completely seperate site install that happens to be located on the same domain as our main app.

    It would be cool to have something where you can say force grader to only look at items in the site you specify.

    Right now if we specify www.oursite.com/pro grader looks at oursite.com, and not oursite.com/pro.

    I do not get y you show the info from del.icio.us
    no one is on that site anymore
    so that site does not matter what so ever.
    if you want to get info from a site like that I suggest reddit.com or stumbleupon.com
    Get with it ppl, the net is a ever changing place, evolve or die. LOL
