  1. Some folks will use different name for the same location. Hong Kong and HK should be one bucket of localization, just like Montreal, Montréal and Mtl should be all in the same. This way when a user searches for top ranked Twitter Users in Montreal, he will have the real list, without having to merge 3 different lists...

  2. There are a large number of people in many Asian countries (not just China) who use twitter but do not use the English names of their cities for their location. This names, obviously, to be fair, should be included in the search for city-based and country based Elites lists.

  3. It's just the same thing with the Website.grader, have a link to twitter.grader.com/"userpage" via a 80x15 button image. Having to load up the twitter.grader page can update the status of the Tweeter.

  4. Only a trusting fool would give up their password to a third-party site. Come up with a better way to handle authentication.

  5. Keyword search seems to prioritise too much on keyword existing in profile and not on how much the keyword is used in Tweets (like the cloud on individual profiles - which is excellent feature). Need to balance this out a bit more by tweaking balance between keyword in cloud over in profile. Take 'SharePoint' keyword as a key example to this.

  8. You obviously changed your grading algorithm because now the all of a sudden every top graded account are those that Twitter 3 weeks ago included in their "suggested follow list." Twitter blew it with that. It has wrecked the integrity and level playing field that all social media sites should have. And now your grading system has followed suit, no pun intended.

  9. I found a bunch of cool looking people using your super cool "see the Twitter Elite in" function... but there's no lick to their Twitter profile so I can follow them.

  10. Hey, I like the new Grader system. There were way too many "100"s, the scores became meaningless.

But my question involves my own ranking (although it is probably true for others). For quite a while, when I check my user account, it says I'm in the Elite of New Jersey & the United States. When I click on the New Jersey, I can see myself on the list but when I click on the United States link, I'm never there and it only goes from 1-50.

So, is this actually a place on the general Twitter Elite list and I…

  11. When I click on analyze followers, I'm taken to a page that analyzes the people I follow... not the people who follow me. The link for analyze who I'm following takes me to a page that analyzes who's following me. Obviously these are either misnamed or simply reversed.

  12. Currently, both "HK" and "Hong Kong" lead to the same selection of Twitterers based in Hong Kong. Could you also merge those people using "HKG" as location with that same "Hong Kong" group?

  13. Great tools here but my org wants me to analyze ALL of our followers and trend them. Best way to handle this is by API or batch data processing - where we could upload a file full of names and have twitter grader do work when traffic is lower, and just send it back to us a day later via email when it has time to finish the job.

  20. I check the grade of a user and it linked to Google Map from her iPhone GPS location. I suggest to default it as masked as I felt creepy to fing the fact people can stalk you in Google Map without knowing.
